Reliving 'The Last Samurai' at Kumamoto Castle: A Journey with Chewing Sister! (在熊本城重溫《最後的武士》：與 Chewing Sister 的冒險旅程！)

 Hello everyone! It’s Chewing Sister! Today, we are exploring the breathtaking Kumamoto Castle (熊本城 / 熊本城). Standing before its massive stone walls, I couldn’t help but think of Tom Cruise and his epic movie, The Last Samurai (ラストサムライ / 最后的武士).

Did you know that the history and spirit of the samurai depicted in that film are deeply rooted in places just like this? As I watched the Kumamoto Castle Samurai (熊本城おもてなし武将隊 / 熊本城武士团) perform in front of the Main Keep (天守閣 / 天守阁), it felt like stepping onto a movie set. The strength and honor of the warriors were truly inspiring!

After exploring the castle grounds, we headed to Sakura-no-baba Josaien (桜の馬場 城彩苑 / 樱之马场 城彩苑). This bustling market is perfect for refilling your energy after a day of "samurai training." We enjoyed some amazing local treats and soaked in the traditional atmosphere.
